I grew up in the Turks and Caicos Islands, and was lucky enough to be raised by parents who have a thirst for freedom and fun. I left my 9 to 5 office gig to pursue a remote position, and started a web development business on the side.
Like many people, I grew up ticking all the boxes: graduate high school, get the degree, land the job, rent the apartment, drive the daily commute. I felt stuck in the cycle and even though I traveled often for a few weeks at a time, I didn’t feel like I was living life to max potential.
I decided to leave my corporate job while growing a web development business on the side. I now work 100% remotely so that I can roam freely. Whether that be exploring a sandy beach, taking in a new view, or simply walking to the fridge for a snack.
